He had cut himself pretty badly splitting firewood, getting ready for this next winter. So I rushed over to his house and scooped him up and took him to the ER. We figured I could get him there much quicker than waiting for an ambulance to arrive. So that’s what we did. Once we got there we spent the whole day there. I really think that they could do something to improve the waiting time in the ER – I think there is no excuse for the extreme lengths of time people have to wait to get some medical attention! Very aggravating!
